In Coffee and Convo
Ever since the kids were small,
they have helped me cook. OK maybe breaking eggs into a bowl isn’t really cooking, but it started them on a path of creating their own recipes and being willing, even looking forward to taking over the task of dinner every once in a while.
When Hannah was 4, I taught her how to make coffee. I poured it -- hot beverages and kids not a good idea -- but she made me a pot every Saturday morning for a couple of years. Ah the good old days!
