In my quest to find the perfect travel mug, Beverly came across the “I’m not a paper cup” travel mug and sent me one to try out.
When I first got it, I truly thought it was a paper cup. But as soon as I lifted it, I knew it wasn’t. It has the weight of a ceramic mug with a silicon top.
Here’s my take on it:
Drinkability: Easy to drink from, doesn’t spill or drip. Has a good “lip feel.”
Cleaning: Dishwasher-safe and cleans beautifully. Doesn’t stain.
Travel ease: Fits nicely into the cup holder in my car.
Beverage temperature: Will keep coffee or tea hot only as long as a typical ceramic mug.
Other observations: High conversation starter. Cup can be micro-waved. Capacity is small, but then since it doesn’t keep warm very long, that’s probably a good thing.
Price: Under $20 on Amazon.
All-in-all, I like it. For me it’s still not the perfect travel mug since it won’t keep my coffee hot enough, long enough and it’s capacity is so small.
So I’m still looking. Let me know what your favorite travel mug is. I know it has to be out there somewhere.

Insulated Travel Mugs is best. The auto seal lid also means there is no fussing around trying to open it, you press to sip and release to seal, Easy peasy.
Kudos and Plaudits to you! I have tried many of your recipes with success but I must say your

My husband and I have been on this quest for years until now! We purchased the Thermos Stainless King travel mugs and they are so awesome! By lunch time my coffee is still hot, not warm, hot! They are sturdy, durable, with a leak proof lid that you can drink from either side. The only downside is the price, about $29 at Target. That is a lot, but when you consider all the money we’ve shelled out for inferior mugs that fall apart, it was totally worth it.
