4 boneless steaks of choice, such as rib eye or strip steaks (6 to 8 ounces each)
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Place steaks in a single layer in a baking pan with at least 1-inch sides. Prick both sides of steaks with a fork several times.
Pace butter and Worcestershire sauce in a 2-cup or larger glass measure, cover with paper towel, and microwave on high until butter melts, about 30 to 45 seconds. Remove and whisk to mix well. Pour mixture over steaks turning to coat well.
Turn on a gas grill to medium-high.
Place steaks on hot grill and cook 4 to 6 minutes (depending on doneness preference). Spread any butter mixture left over on top of steaks while grilling. Caution: Watch for flare-ups from butter.
Turn steaks and continue grilling for 4 to 6 minutes for medium-rare, or to personal preference. Serve immediately
May be easily doubled.
