So-Sweet Sopapilla Chips
2 large (10-inch) flour tortillas
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup honey or chocolate syrup, or to taste
Turn on oven to 375 degrees F.
Stack tortillas on top of each other and cut into 8 equal triangles with a pizza cutter or knife. Place butter in a shallow microwave-safe dish and microwave, uncovered, on high, until melted, about 25 seconds. Meanwhile, combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
Drag one edge of each triangle through butter, then over the edge of bowl to remove excess. Place triangles, butter side up, on an ungreased 15 X 10-inch baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
Bake 8 minutes, uncovered, or until tortillas barely begin to crisp. Remove to a serving plate and let rest 2 minutes to cool and crisp further.
Meanwhile, warm honey or chocolate syrup in microwave. Drizzle over chips to serve.

I made some similar chips (no drizzle) and fruit salsa for our Cinco de Mayo lunch at work. They were wonderful. I put the cinnamon-sugar in a plastic bag & shook the buttered tortilla wedges to cover. It cut down on mess. Mine baked 15 min. and after cooling were deliciously crunchy.
