Strawberry Butter Cream Frosting
1 stick butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup strawberry juice
1 pound powdered sugar
1. Using and electric mixer, mix the butter, juice and sugar together on low until blended. Then cream on high until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Scrape sides of bowl as necessary.

Hi Barbara, If you are making the cake recipe, too, you can use the juice you drain from the frozen strawberries. If you are making another cake, use 1 cup sliced strawberries + 1/4 cup granulated sugar, stir and set aside for 15 minutes. Puree and drain the puree well, saving the juice for the frosting. I'm looking at the Strawberry Butter Cream frosting recipe. It looks great and I 'd love to make it for my daughter's upcoming birhtday. I am wondering what is strawberry juice. Is it store bought or strawberries pureed? Thanks,
